Enable or Disable Echo360 Newsletter Distribution via Email

Echo360 has partnered with Hubspot to provide direct communication channels with Echo360 Instructors. To accommodate each institution's policies, Echo360 provides a Newsletter toggle for the institution, that allows an institution's administrator to enable or disable this email communication.

The toggle is enabled by default, meaning that all instructors will receive occasional email newsletters from Echo360, providing tips, information on current trends, and even product or feature announcements.

Users can opt out or unsubscribe from these messages via an unsubscribe link located on the email.

Disabling the toggle removes all institution users from our distribution list.

Note about unsubscribing: As stated above, users can unsubscribe from the newsletters using the link in the message. Once unsubscribed, a user is forever unsubscribed. Even if the administrator toggles the feature off then back on, users who selected to be removed from the distribution are not re-added.

To disable Echo360 Newsletter email:

  1. Log in as an administrator.
  2. Click the Settings icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  3. From the Settings menu, select Institution Settings.
The Institution appears at the top of the list and is selected by default.
  4. On the right side of the Institution Settings page, click Features.
  5. Under Features, disable the Newsletters toggle switch (it is enabled by default).
  6. Click Yes on the confirmation message that appears.

Newsletter communications from Echo360 are now disabled; users will not receive these messages.
